I can safely blame my parents for giving me the travel bug! My brother and sister and I were so lucky to have been brought abroad on holidays from when we were teenagers, and old enough to appreciate it. Summers were for travelling and that is certainly a notion I cannot shake. At the moment I work in the education sector and try to use my free time to see as much of the world as I can. The aim of my blog is to showcase the myriad of city breaks, far-flung destinations and staycation getaways that await the travel hungry but budget conscious teacher.  All photographs are taken by me unless otherwise stated.
